Research on Grinding of Coarse-grain Iron Powder Used for Sulfuric Acid Method Titanium Dioxide Reduction
Due to continuous improving requirements for iron powder used for sulfuric acid method titanium dioxide reduction,existing process can not meet the product requirement.Therefore,this study carries out the deep cracking experiment on coarse-grain iron powder(>40 mesh)and the crushing tests by wet method multi-stage grinding by using large-scale ball grinder and 2ZM-200 and 2ZM-400 type vibrating rod mills.The results show that the crushing rate of multi-stage grinding by the ball grinder is 32.16%,while the crushing rate of the vibrating rod mill combining with charging speed control can reach as high as 58.15%(charging speed:1~3 kg/min),and thus the product iron power can meet the process requirements.
