In practical engineering, deep foundation pit excavation will be carried out on soft soil in some cases, and soft soil has very high soil instability. Therefore, special methods such as soil nails need to be used for treat-ment.Based on the finite element method, this paper analyzes the stability of foundation pit slope strengthened by soil nails. It includes two slopes of 45°and 60°,which are reinforced with nails under three different slopes of 0°,15° and 30° respectively. The slope and all nail inclinations are taken from the horizontal plane. The stability param-eters such as safety factor, critical sliding surface and axial force of soil nail are compared. It is found that the slope of 15° is the most stable, and the slope is in the range of 0°~15°.With the change of nail inclination from 15°~30°,the slope FOS gradually increases, and the nail axial force changes with the position of the nail, and gradu-ally decreases from the upper nail to the lower nail.
