In order to systematically analyze the hot spots and trends of online public opinion research in domestic universities,text mining methods such as co-occurrence analysis and LDA topic model ware used to analyze aca-demic papers.The analysis was carried out from the macro and micro levels.At the macro level,based on the key-word co-occurrence network,the semantic communities of keywords were extracted by using the community mining method to analyze the main research content of online public opinion in universities.At the micro level,based on the corpus of academic paper abstracts,the LDA topic model was used to extract potential research top-ics,measure topic intensity and its evolution trend,and find current research hotspots.The research results show that there are six hot research topics on online public opinion in domestic universities,among which the research intensity of guidance,monitoring and evolution analysis of online public opinion in universities will continue to in-crease.Finally,the paper looks forward to the research of online public opinion in universities,and puts forward the future research direction and research questions.
