Jiangxi red songs is a kind of music form with rich revolutionary color,which contains rich ideological connotation and historical and cultural value.In recent years,Jiangxi red songs,as a special cultural symbol,have been widely used in ideological and political education,classroom teaching and student management.Based on the application of Jiangxi red songs in ideological and political education,this paper probes into the concept defini-tion,ideological connotation and the value of Jiangxi red songs to the ideological and political education of young people,the artistic features of Jiangxi red songs and the analysis of the function of the artistic value to the ideolog-ical and political education of young people,as well as the application of Jiangxi red songs to the ideological and political education of young people,and advances some suggestions on the further development and utilization of Jiangxi red songs,in order to promote its application in the ideological and political education of young people in-depth development.
