Feedback is a key process in teaching,which helps stimulate learning motivation and promote learning engagement.But whether feedback works depends on learning engagement.In recent years,in view of the current learners'passive engagement in EFL academic writing,some researches have shifted their focuses on the correla-tion between feedback and learning engagement.However,most of them explored the impact of single feedback on learning engagement by divorcing from authentic teaching situations.This study uses a mixed research method to explore the undergraduate learning engagement with human-computer hybrid feedback in academic English writ-ing through data such as student grades,revised texts and interviews.Findings show that human-computer hy-brid feedback has significant influence on undergraduate learning engagement.The results contribute to both aca-demic English writing teaching and learners engagement research.
