Evaluation of the Effect of Humanistic Care Applied to Surgical Care
Objective:The purpose of this study was to investigate the psychological state and recovery of surgical pa-tients after receiving humanistic care in the operating room.Methods:A convenience sample of 80 surgical patients ad-mitted to a second-class hospital in Yichun City between June 2022 and June 2023 were selected and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,which received conventional surgical nursing interventions and human-istic care nursing in the operating room,respectively,and data were collected through observation and questionnaire survey.Results:Prior to the humanistic nursing intervention,the anxiety and depression scores of the two groups showed no statistically significant difference.However,after the intervention,the observation group had significantly lower scores in anxiety and depression compared to the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In addition,the observation group had significantly higher scores in patients satisfaction than the control group,and this result was also statistically significant(P<0.001).Meanwhile,this study found that after the nursing care,compared with the control group,the incidence of complications such as pressure injury,urinary re-tention and conjunctivitis was significantly lower in the observation group,and this difference was statistically signifi-cant(P<0.001).Conclusion:The intervention of humanistic care in the operating room can help regulate the psy-chological state of patients and promote their recovery,which has certain application value.
