Basic Physical and Chemical Characteristics and Fertility Evaluation of Soil for Greening in the Central Urban Area of Jianyang
As the material foundation and nutrient carrier of agricultural production, soil fertility is also influenced by factors such as soil parent material, geographical environment, climate, and agricultural cultivation. The arti-cle takes the central urban area of Jianyang as the object, collects soil samples from 61 different green areas in the area, tests five nutrient indicators:pH,organic matter(OM),total nitrogen(TN),total phosphorus(TP),and total potassium(TK),and conducts fertility evaluation. The results showed that the overall soil of the green land in the study area was weakly acidic, with the average OM of agricultural and commercial green land reaching medium fertility. However, industrial, road, park, and residential green land lacked fertility, and the TOC con-tent of grassland was the lowest. The distribution of TN content is similar to that of OM,and TN is extremely scarce in grasslands.Overall, both TP and TK exhibit a level of richness or above. The order of soil comprehensive fertility values is agriculture land(1.70)>commercial green space(1.60)>road green space(1.20)>residential greenspace(1.04)>park green space(1.01)>industrial green space(0.94)>grassland(0.73).The compreh-ensive fertility of grasslands is poor, while the comprehensive fertility of other types of land is average. Therefore, attention should be paid to the application of manure on the green land in the study area, and the comprehensive fertility level of grassland should be improved.
