The four segment index evaluation method is used to deeply analyze the skills and tactics of German ta-ble tennis male chopping player Ruwen Filus in five matches,meanwhile,study the characteristics of male chop-ping playing methods of foreign associations,and enrich the domestic chopping playing methods.The article a-dopts the methods of literature,video observation and mathematical statistics.The research found that the utiliza-tion rate and scoring rate of Ruwen Filus in the hair snatch section were the most prominent,but the use rate was low and the scoring rate was relatively high during the the receiving section.In the stalemate stage I,the utilization rate and scoring rate of Ruwen Filus were both good.In the stalemate stage Ⅱ,the starting grabbing rate of Ru-wen Filus was the highest.The comprehensive analysis shows that Ruwen Filus has outstanding offensive ability,which is worthy of reference for domestic players.
