A Comparative Study of WANG Shi-zhen's Divine Rhythm Statement and Kant's Deduction of Judgement
In the field of comparison between the Chinese and western literary theory,there are fewer comparative studies on Chinese and western literary theory in the 17th and 18th centuries.The paper selects Wang Shizhen and Immanuel Kant,and conducts a comparative study on their theory of divinity and critique of judgement,focusing on the analysis of the three pairs of concepts:Xing Hui and emotion,inexhaustible meaning and aesthetic con-cepts,and natural divinity and nature-like art,and sums up the main commonalities and differences between the two theories in terms of their paths of construction,so that we could find the universal laws of human art from these two concepts,while displaying the characteristics of the literary theories of the Chinese and Western.
