Effects of Humble Leadership on Employees'Constructive Challenging Behavior:Mediation Effects of Leader-Member Exchange Relationship
In the context of increasingly flat organizational structures,employees'constructive challenging behav-ior has gradually attracted the attention of academia and the industry.Based on the leader-member exchange theo-ry,social cognitive theory and inducement contribution theory,this paper uses a questionnaire survey to investi-gate the impact mechanism of leader humility on employees'constructive challenging behavior with the sample date of 488 employees.The results show that leaders'humility has a positive effect on employees'constructive challenging behavior,and leader-member exchange relationship plays a mediation role in it.Finally,the paper puts forward suggestions and measures to provide reference for cultivating leaders'humility style,forming high-quality leader-member exchange relationship,and promoting employees to make constructive challenging behavior.
