A Study of Carbon Auditing in Non-ferrous Metal Industry
Excessive CO2 emissions are accelerating global warming, global atmospheric concentrations of CO2 in the atmosphere have reached record levels, extreme weather events are occurring in many parts of the world, and temperatures are once again reaching record highs. The development of a low-carbon economy is the trend of the times, and carbon audit came into being. On December 2,2018,governments at the 24th United Nations Climate Change Conference in Poland said they should strive to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.This means that compa-nies must accelerate carbon control, pursue a green economy, and reduce their environmental impact. As a high-energy-consuming and high-carbon emission industry, effective carbon audit practices in the non-ferrous met-als industry will help it identify energy consumption and carbon emission problems, bridge the gap in waste and energy use, explore energy-saving opportunities, and improve energy efficiency.
