The Impact of Nursing Intervention Based on FTS Concept on Postoperative Rehabilitation and Quality of Life of Patients Undergoing Hip Replacement Surgery
Objective:To explore the application effect of nursing intervention based on fast track surgery(FTS)concept on patients with hip replacement(THA).Methods:52 patients who underwent THA in the Department of Orthopedics at Yichun Second People's Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected and divided into two groups using a random number table method, with 26 cases in each group. The observation group re-ceived nursing interventions based on the FTS concept, while the control group received routine care. Both groups were followed up for 6 months.Compare the postoperative rehabilitation, joint function, quality of life, and inci-dence of complications between the two groups. Results:The observation group had shorter postoperative first time out of bed and hospital stay compared to the control group. The scores of all dimensions in the postoperative hip function score scale(Harris)were higher than those in the control group, and the scores of all dimensions in the postoperative health survey scale(SF-36)were higher than those in the control group. The incidence of com-plications(7.69%)was lower than that in the control group(30.77%),and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Nursing interventions based on the FTS concept can shorten the postopera-tive recovery time of THA patients, promote hip joint function recovery, reduce the occurrence of complications, and improve quality of life.
