As the centennial of the founding of the Party approaches,rural literacy education under the leadership of the Communist Party of China has also lasted for nearly a century,from early literacy classes to adult basic ed-ucation in the new era,demonstrating that literacy education has a strong vitality.Since the establishment of the Communist Party of China,rural literacy education has gone through three important historical stages,mainly during the Anti-Japanese War,the early years of the founding of New China and after the reform and opening up,and the main historical experiences have been summarized.These experiences provide important insights for the development of literacy education in the new era.
