Research on the Quality Evaluation System of Blood Collection and Supply Process Control in Jiangxi Province
Objective:Investigate and analyze the quality control situation of blood donation and supply processes in various blood stations in Jiangxi Province,and explore the establishment of a process control quality evaluation system that suits the regional characteristics of Jiangxi.Methods:Collect,sort,assess the relevant quality indica-tors of blood donation and supply processes from various blood stations in Jiangxi from 2020 to 2022.Using bench-marking and tabulation to conduct a systematic and effective quality assessment.Results:By comparison,from 2020 to 2022,the total number of blood donations in Jiangxi Province was 1,346,393,with 200mL accounting for about 13.51%,300mL for about 30.30%,and 400ml for about 55.15%.The rate of inadequate blood collec-tions(less than 90ml)was about 1.008%.The failure rate for blood tests was 1.6%,and the abnormal scrap rate was 4.61%,among which fatty blood had the highest percentage,reaching 77.2%.Undercapacity,overca-pacity and expired were 4.35%and 3.45%,respectively.Conclusion:Basic implementation of quality manage-ment systems has been carried out in various blood stations in Jiangxi Province,and some results have been a-chieved in the control of blood donation and supply processes.During the COVID-19 pandemic from 2020 to 2022,the province stepped up efforts to promote and recruit voluntary blood donors,as well as emergency meas-ures,resulting in an increase in the proportion of regular donors and the enhancement of rapid blood collection ca-pabilities.It is important to effectively implement the spirit of quality management,focus on standardized manage-ment,and establish a comprehensive quality monitoring and evaluation system that covers the entire process of blood donation and supply,to ensure maximum blood safety and promote the continuous improvement of blood safety management levels in the province.
