Psychological Quality and Anxiety of Left-behind Children in Grades 3-6:Mediating Role of Humor Styles
In order to explore the effect of humor styles on psychological suzhi and anxiety of left-behind children in grades 3 to 6,3451 left-behind children in grades 3 to 6 in Anhui province were collectively measured by the psychological suzhi questionnaire of primary school students,the humor styles questionnaire for younger children(HSQ-Y)and the Generalized Anxiety Scale(GAD-7).The results showed that:(1)There were significant gender differences in amiable,sarcastic and self-deprecating humor among the left-behind children in grades 3 to 6,and significant grade differences in amiable humor;(2)Except for humor styles and anxiety,self-depre-cating humor had no significant correlation with psychological suzhi,personality quality and adaptability,and the other variables were pairwise correlated;(3)Humor styles play a part of mediating role between psychological quality and anxiety of left-behind children in grades 3 to 6,and the mediating effect of self-strengthening and i-ronic humor is significant.
