With the in-depth advancement of digital transformation in educational evaluation, data, characterized by its intu-itive accuracy, richness, and efficiency, has become a revolutionary force in the evaluation of students'comprehensive quality. In this context, how to present and explore the potential value of data in comprehensive quality evaluation has emerged as a new challenge in the digital era.Data storytelling, known as the"last mile"problem in data science, aims to shift our understanding of data from a sur-face perception to a deeper understanding through a narrative approach. It has the advantages of being memorable, comprehensible, and experiential, presenting data on students'qualities in the form of stories and serving as a key driver of innovation in comprehen-sive quality evaluation.Based on this, the study constructs a framework for students'comprehensive quality evaluation supported by data storytelling and elaborates on its practical implementation. This framework includes four stages:data collection, data analysis, story presentation, and user action. Each stage overlaps and progresses, collectively empowering the input, analysis, output, and feed-back of comprehensive quality evaluation. This not only promotes a more scientific approach to comprehensive quality evaluation but also fully demonstrates its humanistic value, helping evaluators maximize the potential value of assessment data, truly understand stu-dents,and focus on their continuous growth.
