摘要

未来移动通信的各种业务和应用场景需要更实时泛在的AI服务支持,ITU已将6G场景扩展到泛在智能,6G需要将AI打造成内在的新能力和新服务.当前5G网络以"场景用例驱动、外挂或嫁接式"的方式支持智能应用,其性能、通用性和效率都有待提升.因此,提出了6G无线网络智慧内生架构,引入AI服务编排、AI任务控制、多维资源融合控制/承载和网络数字孪生功能,完成AI业务需求到底层多维网络资源的按需协同映射,实现端到端、差异化的AI服务质量保障,灵活、高效地为网络自身和千行百业提供高质量的AI服务.最后,提出分布式AI模型部署和通感智控融合等关键技术潜在研究点,以适应未来AI大模型、智能体的发展趋势.

Abstract

Future mobile communication services and applications demand real-time and ubiquitous AI support,with ITU extending 6G scenarios to encompass pervasive intelligence.To meet these demands,6G must integrate AI as a native capability and service.Current 5G networks rely on"use-case-driven,add-on or grafted"approaches to support intelligent applications,which face limitations in performance,versatility,and efficiency.This paper proposes an native AI architecture for 6G wireless networks,incorporating AI service orchestration,AI task management,multidimensional resource integration,and network digital twin functionalities.These features enable the on-demand,coordinated mapping of AI service requirements to underlying network resources,ensuring end-to-end,differentiated AI service quality.This architecture offers flexible and efficient high-quality AI services to both the network itself and a wide range of industries.Furthermore,potential research directions are outlined,including distributed AI model deployment and the integration of communication,sensing,AI and control,to adapt to emerging trends in AI foundation models and AI agents.
