Abstract
Psychological stress is a natural response that individuals experience when facing challenges and threats in life.Long term accumulation can lead to psychological disorders such as anxiety and depression,as well as physiological problems such as cardiovascular disease.This article delves into how swimming,as an efficient mental health intervention,can effectively alleviate psychological stress,and provides a detailed analysis of the internal mechanisms by which swimming affects individuals on both physiological and psychological levels.The article also discusses the specific application of swimming in mental health interventions,including personalized swimming plans,structured swimming course design,organization of group swimming activities,and underwater therapy.At the same time,it also emphasized the safety,gradual progress,individual differences,emotional management,comprehensive intervention and other issues that must be considered when carrying out swimming interventions,and suggested combining swimming with other treatment methods to achieve the optimal treatment effect.Taking these measures into consideration,swimming can not only improve an individual's mental health and quality of life,but also promote overall happiness.
