The Impact of Gait Changes in Pregnant Women on Lower Limb Joint Load and Research on Exercise Intervention Strategies
As pregnancy progresses, the weight and center of gravity of pregnant women change, leading to adaptive adjustments in their gait to maintain body balance and reduce energy expenditure. However, these adjustments also increase the load on the knee and ankle joints, which can have adverse effects on the lower limb health of pregnant women. Therefore,in order to reduce joint load, prevent joint pain and injury,it is necessary to strengthen monitoring and management of gait changes in pregnant women.By intervening in the gait of pregnant women through exercise, not only can the physical fitness of pregnant women be enhanced, cardiovascular function improved, but also the load on lower limb joints can be effectively reduced, which is of great significance for preventing lower limb joint injuries and related complications.
