The Effect of High-intensity Interval Training on the Anaerobic Sprint Ability of Ordinary College Students
High intensity interval training(HIIT)is an efficient exercise method that enhances athletes'anaerobic sprint ability through short periods of high-intensity exercise and intermittent rest. This study selected 40 ordinary college students from the Law School of Fujian Normal University and randomly divided them into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental results show that compared with traditional sprint training,high-intensity interval training can more effectively improve cardiovascular function, enhance muscle strength, and reduce body fat percentage.High intensity interval training performs better in improving anaerobic sprinting ability. The core principle lies in the alternation of high-intensity exercise and low-intensity or rest stages in a short period of time, which stimulates the body to produce adaptive changes.Ordinary universities should strengthen the promotion and application of high-intensity intermittent training to enhance students'participation enthusiasm. At the same time, combining various training methods, such as strength training, traditional sprint training, etc.,comprehensively improves the physical fitness of students.
