The Impact of Social Support on the Professional Identity of Primary and Secondary School Physical Education Teachers:The Mediating Role of Self-efficacy
To explore the impact of social support received by primary and secondary school physical education teachers on their professional identity,as well as the mediating role of self-efficacy in this relationship,a survey was conducted on physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools in Jiangxi Province using the Professional Identity Scale for Primary and Secondary School Teachers,Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS),and General Self Efficacy Scale(GSES).Research has found that there is a pairwise correlation between social support,self-efficacy,and professional identity:The professional identity of primary and secondary school physical education teachers is influenced by social support,and self-efficacy plays a mediating role between social support and professional identity.Therefore,self-efficacy becomes the pathway of mediating effect.
