A Review of Research Progress on the Therapeutic Effect of High-intensity Interval Training on Chronic Diseases under the Background of Integration of Sports and Medicine
In recent years,high-intensity training has been increasingly applied in the management and prevention of chronic diseases.Summarizing the effects and methods of High Intensity Interval Training(HIIT)on common chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease,diabetes,hypertension,obesity,and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.Research was found that HIIT training mode had good effects in improving maximum oxygen uptake,increasing energy metabolism and consumption,improving cardiopulmonary function,and lowering blood pressure,blood sugar,and blood lipids.And because it is an interval training mode,patient compliance and safety are better guaranteed.However,there is currently no mature and standardized plan to guide high-intensity interval training in improving chronic diseases.Reviewing the effects of high-intensity interval training on the treatment of chronic diseases,in order to provide reference for future clinical applications.
