Research on the Impact of Cognitive Behavioral Intervention on Injuries in Football Players
Exploring whether cognitive behavioral intervention and biofeedback training can reduce the incidence of sports injuries in adolescent football players. The research subjects were 29 football players from Bao'an District Youth Amateur Sports School in Shenzhen, divided into an experimental group(N=13)and a control group(N=14).The experimental group received a nine week cognitive behavioral intervention and biofeedback training. The experimental results showed that the incidence of sports injuries in the experimental group(0.38 times/person)was lower than that in the control group(1.00 times/person).Although the incidence of injuries in the experimental group was lower, the difference did not reach statistical significance(P<0.054).Although this study did not provide significant statistical results, the effect size was large(Cohen's d=0.89),indicating that cognitive behavioral interventions may have a certain effect in practical applications.
