Comprehensive Radiation Effects Analysis of Exploration to the Boundary of the Solar System
In view of the strong radiation problem in the exploration missions to the boundary of the Solar System, the space radiation environment involved in the flight of the probe is systematically analyzed, including the earth radiation environment, solar cosmic ray radiation environment, galactic cosmic ray radiation environment,Jupiter radiation environment and Neptune radiation environment and the characteristics of the model. The relationship curve between shielding thickness and radiation dose is given by model simulation.Combined with foreign detection data, the total radiation dose suffered by the two missions is obtained. The estimated results can support the optimization choice between shielding weight cost and anti-radiation capability of the probe.According to the radiation characteristics of space nuclear power,a method of radiation effect analysis of nuclear power suitable engineering applications are proposed.Combined with the characteristics of the exploration mission and the engineering reliability, the system level protection strategy against the various radiation effects is proposed, which provides technical support and reference for the scheme design and mission implementation of exploration to the boundary of the Solar System.
