Addressing the urgent need for high-efficiency,and high-quality within the design of launch vehicle,this paper proposed that the underlying logic of the intelligent design of launch ve-hicle in China is to construct the structured representation of models and parameters of launch ve-hicle in the digital space,and use intelligent methods to empower the design process to realize the intelligent and rapid optimal design of the scheme.Intelligent design includes two core elements,the first one is the design tool,including the independent research and development and application of disciplinary tools,and the construction of a unified digital collaborative design platform.The second one is intelligent optimization algorithm based on large model.In order to realize the intel-ligent design,the overall design of the launch vehicle is divided into three stages:traditional de-sign,digital design,and intelligent design.Finally,some development directions of intelligent de-sign of launch vehicle are introduced.
