The finite volume method is used to discretize the transient Euler equation on unstruc-tured grids.A flow field calculation program based on the density-based algorithm is developed, and the surface variables are obtained by using a second-order scheme satisfying the TVD property on unstructured grids.Roe-FDS and AUSM+upwind schemes are used to calculate the flux on the face, and the reliability of the algorithm is verified by classical examples. Then the program is extended to three-dimensional calculation. The flow of free jet is calculated, and the distribution of Mach number on the axis line is obtained. The calculation results of different algorithms are com-pleted.It shows that the dissipation of the AUSM+scheme combined with the second-order scheme is still greater than that of the calculation of Fluent, but the dissipation of the second-order Roe scheme is less than that of the calculation of Fluent.
