本文探讨了元宇宙技术如何革新电影制作过程,从早期的三维动画、动作捕捉,到利用虚拟摄制、虚拟资产、虚拟现实、实时引擎和人工智能等技术实现电影技术的飞跃.本文通过分析电影中元宇宙相关技术的应用案例,展望未来电影制作和观影体验的可能转变.研究表明,基于计算机图形学(CG)的高级视觉效果和复杂场景渲染已初步展示了元宇宙概念的应用潜力,而基于人工智能的ChatGPT和Sora的故事创作和视频生成能力,将更进一步促进电影制作的自动化和智能化.此外,元宇宙中的虚拟现实和多模态交互将持续推动传统电影向沉浸式互动电影发展.
Applications and prospects of metaverse technology in film production
This article discuss how metaverse reforms film production process,since the early staage with 3D animation and motion capture,to the stage of making a leap forward in film technology with virtual production,virtual assets,virtual re-ality,real-time engine,artificial intelligence,etc.This research outlooks possible transformation in the future of film produc-tion and screening exprience by analyzing actual using cases of metaverse concept in related stage,which shows that the advanced visual effects and the rendering of complex scenes based on computer graphics have preliminarily demonstrated the practical potential of metaverse concept.Meanwhile,the ability of story creation and video generation with AI models,such as ChatGPT and Sora,will further promote the automation and intelligence of film production.In addition,virtual real-ity and multimodal interaction in the metaverse will continue to promote the development from traditional films into immer-sive interactive films.
