Innovations in film technology empowered by generative AI:a review of film technology research related to AIGC at SIGGRAPH 2024
The paper focuses on the application of generative artificial intelligence technologies in visual content creation at the SIGGRAPH 2024 conference.It systematically reviews the latest research advancements at the intersection of com-puter graphics and AI,offering an in-depth analysis of the current state of generative AI technologies across three aspects:generalization,stability and controllability.The paper further explores the innovative applications of generative AI in film pro-duction,as well as the challenges it faces.Additionally,it provides a comprehensive examination and forward-looking pre-dictions on the role of generative AI in the future development of film technologies,aiming to offer readers a technical per-spective on the applicability of generative AI and its potential impact on the film industry.
