Ductile iron pipes are widely used to transfer water,the determination of ductile iron pipe internal protection should be done based on scientific and systematic evaluation of water quality.In June 2022,ISO/TR4340 2022:《water aggressiveness evaluation and optimized lining choice》was published.Combined with the drafting process of ISO/TR4340 2022,this paper will discuss the evaluation of water chemical stability and the guidance for internal protection of ductile iron pipes.
