Effect of heat treatment process on microstructure of new hydrogen sulfide corrosion resistant materials
Stress corrosion cracking in severe hydrogen sulfide corrosive environment is one of the major potential safety hazards in oil and gas engineering. In this paper, the material which used in severe corrosive environment was studied, and the effects of different heat treatment processes on the corrosion properties of materials were clarified. The microstructure, large angle grain boundary and uniformly dispersed carbides in the crystal under different heat treatment processes were analyzed by SEM,EBSD and TEM.The results show that which following 890℃×30'quenching and 705℃×30'tempering heat treatment process, material has the best microstructure. It can meet the requirements of product comprehensive performance in severe working condition. The results of this study have been transformed to products and supplied to oilfields.
