The determination of TFe content in iron ore by titanium trichloride reduction potassium dichromate titration method is highly praised by metallurgical industry laboratories due to its simple operation,low cost,and accurate results.However,this method also has many unstable factors,and the differences in the manipulation of detection details by different detection personnel may result in significant differences in the data obtained.In response to this situation,this article summarizes the principle,key control points,and corresponding countermeasures of using titanium trichloride reduction potassium dichromate titration method to determine TFe content in iron ore through practical experience,which has reference significance for the analysis of TFe content in iron ore in metallurgical industry laboratories.
