Ductile iron pipe is one of the best choices for water conveyance,and internal protection standards of which will directly effect product quality and the service life of pipeline.In this paper,the development of ductile iron pipe internal protection standards and further work proposals will be discussed,combined with the development of internal protection materials,technology and standards,and the work of ISO TC5 SC2 WG24-internal protection.
