Analysis of the Reasons for the Low Compressive Strength of Dam Foundation Rocks in High Seismic Intensity Areas—Taking the Larion Pili Hydropower Station Project in Indonesia as an Example
The Lariang Pili hydropower station project in Indonesia is located on the Lariang River,and the project area is within the Palu koro fault zone.Based on experimental data,this study analyzes the reasons for abnormal strength of diorite granite from three aspects:rock mineral composition characteristics,macroscopic structural characteristics of rock mass,and geological structural characteristics of the site.This provides an effective analysis method for analyzing dam foundation rock mass in high-intensity seismic areas in the future.
