Analysis of Deformation Problems in Deep Foundation Pit Excavation in Soft Soil Areas
A three-dimensional numerical simulation model for deep foundation pit excavation in soft soil areas was established using finite element analysis software. Two commonly used dewatering conditions in engineering were considered, and the differences in horizontal displacement and surface settlement deformation caused by deep foundation pit excavation were compared under the two conditions. The results show that the horizontal displacement of the underground continuous wall occurs in the middle and upper parts, and the trend of the horizontal displacement of the underground continuous wall with depth under different precipitation conditions is basically consistent, but the difference between the values is more obvious. The settlement of the surrounding surface reaches its peak near 10 meters from the excavation site and gradually decreases. The supporting structure imposes certain constraints on surface subsidence, resulting in non linear changes in surface subsidence. In contrast,step-by-step precipitation can effectively reduce the settlement and support deformation of the surrounding surface compared to one-time precipitation.
