Calculation and Structural Analysis of Tunnel Arch Foot as Movable Hinge Support
In the calculation of tunnel lining structure, the traditional method is to separate the tunnel arch and the straight walls on both sides for independent analysis, that is,the arch is considered to be a hingeless arch that is elastically consolidated by the arch foot and the straight wall. However, due to the different mechanical properties of the surrounding rocks in the tunnel, the constraint capacity of the surrounding rock on the displacement of the arch foot is also quite different, and because the lining section used in the initial support is thin, the constraint capacity on the arch foot is further reduced. Therefore, this paper simplifies the arch of this kind of tunnel as a two-hinged arch, and the arch foot is assumed to be an movable hinge. The mechanical properties of the arch are analyzed by structural mechanics method, which aims to provide reference for tunnel stress calculation and initial support.
