Research on the Settlement Correction Model under Preloading Considering Groundwater Level Fluctuation
The preloading method is a commonly used foundation treatment method in the early stage of railway engineering construction. In the construction process, its treatment effect is easily affected by environmental factors such as seasonal rainfall, and these factors are always reflected in the fluctuation of groundwater level.Based on the one-dimensional Terzaghi consolidation theory, this paper first deduces the general model of foundation settlement under the condition of preloading. Then, through the unsaturated soil theory, considering the influence of groundwater level fluctuation on settlement,a settlement correction model considering groundwater level fluctuation under preloading condition is proposed, and the reliability of the model is verified by the monitoring data of an expressway in China. The analysis results show that the settlement difference is in a linear relationship with the groundwater level, and the fitting coefficient R2 is 0.70.Comparing the modified model with the traditional settlement calculation model, the R2 value of the modified model is 0.95,which is higher than that of the traditional model(R2 value is 0.91),and can better reflect the settlement change caused by the fluctuation of groundwater level after the settlement is stable.
