Application of Pressuremeter Test in Rail Transit Survey
Based on an engineering example, this paper analyzes the geotechnical characteristics of the stratum in the construction section by using the pressuremeter test. The test results show that the lateral pressure modulus increases with the increase of soil depth, which reflects the shear strength of soil.Due to the increase of soil depth, the friction between soil particles also increases accordingly, which reduces the shear slip of soil and increases its ability to resist shear deformation. The initial horizontal pressure, critical plastic pressure and ultimate pressure of the pebble layer increase with the increase of soil depth, indicating that the compactness and shear strength of the pebble layer increase with the increase of depth.
