Retrospective Evaluation of Environmental Impact of Water Conservancy Projects
For the river basins or regions with existing water resources development and utilization activities, the retrospective assessment of environmental impact should be carried out in combination with the tasks of the proposed water conservancy projects. In order to repair the existing ecological environment problems, the measures of"repairing the old with the new"should be put forward. This paper discusses the key points of retrospective evaluation of environmental impact of water conservancy projects.Taking the expansion project of Haishao Reservoir in Yunnan Province as an example, the environmental problems existing in the operation of existing reservoirs are investigated and identified.Based on the principle of"repairing existing problems and continuously improving the ecological environment",the environmental requirements of project expansion and the solutions to environmental problems are put forward.
