Application of Cover Arch Method in Reinforcing Long-span Open-web Stone Arch Bridge
In order to study the stress state of long-span open-web stone arch bridge after arch reinforcement,based on the arch reinforcement design of a long-span open-web stone arch bridge,the whole finite element model was established,and the double element method was used to simulate the old stone arch ring and the new reinforced concrete arch ring.The calculation and analysis show that the internal force and bearing capacity of the old stone arch ring are significantly enhanced under the action of vehicle load and other external loads after the arch reinforcement.Therefore,the reinforcement scheme is theoretically feasible and can provide reference for similar engineering design in the future.
