Seismic Isolation Design Analysis of a Prefabricated Municipal Bridge in Guangdong
In this paper, two methods of multi-mode response spectrum analysis and time history analysis are used to study the seismic isolation design of a prefabricated municipal bridge in Guangdong. It is found that the setting of seismic isolation bearings can effectively prolong the natural vibration period of the bridge and increase the damping, thus reducing the impact of the earthquake on the bridge.Compared with the ordinary plate rubber bearing, the seismic isolation bearing can reduce the seismic horizontal force by 21%-27%.The two analysis methods have their own characteristics, and the calculation results are slightly different, but both show that the seismic isolation design has a significant effect on reducing the internal force of the pier and the relative displacement of the main beam and the discontinuous pier.In addition, the seismic isolation design of bridges should pay special attention to the displacement requirements of the superstructure in the longitudinal and transverse directions of the bridge, and attach great importance to the selection of expansion joint specifications, the design of seismic retaining blocks and the design of seismic structural measures. The conclusions of this paper can provide useful reference for the seismic design of the same type of bridges.
