In view of the unfavorable conditions of Longtan Yangtze River Bridge such as large main span,high safety requirements and large prebias of the main cable saddle,this paper focuses on the design and construction of the catway for the suspension bridge of the main bridge upper structure of Longtan Yangtze River Bridge.In view of the characteristic of the catway such as large span and the need to adapt to the adjustment requirements of the super-large prebias of the main cable saddle,it mainly introduces the innovative design of the catway for Longtan Yangtze River Bridge,the key construction points and difficulties of the catway for the large-span suspension bridge,aiming to provide reference for the design and construction of the catway for similar suspension bridges with super-large span.
