Irrigation area construction is an important part of national water conservancy engineering construction.In order to ensure that the supporting facilities in irrigation areas meet the needs of agricultural modernization,relevant units should carry out supporting facility continued construction and water-saving renovation engineering construction in irrigation areas in different regions.This paper analyzes the role of supporting facility continued construction and water-saving renovation construction in irrigation areas,and expounds the construction measures for supporting facility continued construction and water-saving renovation engineering in irrigation areas from the aspects of earthwork construction,channel construction,ladder arc channel construction,channel anti-seepage and low-pressure irrigation.The aim is to improve the supporting facility continued construction and water-saving facilities in irrigation areas,improve crop yield,and effectively strengthen the irrigation capacity of the irrigation area.
