Analysis on the Practice and Application of GPS in Bridge Surveying and Mapping
With the continuous development of science and technology,the level of municipal engineering surveying and mapping technology is getting higher and higher.Engineering surveying and mapping is the foundation of engineering construction,and it is also a very important part of municipal engineering.The results of engineering survey are directly related to the quality of municipal engineering.Starting from the surveying and mapping technology of municipal engineering,this paper expounds the commonly used surveying and mapping technologies and application principles.Taking a large bridge as an example,the practice and application of Global Positioning System(GPS)surveying and mapping technology in bridge surveying and mapping are studied.It is found that GPS surveying and mapping technology can meet the requirements of bridge surveying and mapping,and has a wide application prospect in large bridge control survey.
