The Application of Comprehensive Investigation Technology in Preliminary Feasibility Study Investigation of the Nuclear Power Plant
The main purpose of the investigation in preliminary feasibility study stage of the nuclear power plant is to preliminarily identify the geotechnical engineering conditions of the candidate site area by means of exploration, engineering geophysical prospecting, geological mapping in the field in combination with the existing geotechnical data of the candidate site. The geological structure characteristics, site stability, stratigraphic lithology distribution, nuclear power plant foundation suitability, adverse geological effect, slope stability and other aspects of the site area are preliminarily evaluated to provide a basis for the preparation of the preliminary feasibility study report.Taking the investigation in preliminary feasibility study stage of a nuclear power plant in Guangdong as an example, this paper summarizes the application of comprehensive investigation technologies such as geological survey, drilling and geophysical prospecting in the preliminary feasibility study investigation of the nuclear power plant.
