Research on the Structural Design of Subgrade and Pavement in the Transition Section of Expressway Bridgehead
In order to improve the bearing capacity and stability of subgrade and pavement structure in transition section of expressway bridgehead,a new design method of subgrade and pavement structure in transition section is proposed.Firstly,determine the length of the bridgehead transition section,and design the subgrade and pavement structure of the transition section.On this basis,by erecting the subgrade and pavement approach slab of the bridgehead transition section,the close connection between the approach slab and the subgrade and pavement is realized,and an integrated structure is formed.The application analysis results show that the subgrade and pavement structure designed according to this method has higher bearing capacity,can withstand greater vehicle load and traffic flow,reduce the damage and deformation of the pavement,so as to prolong the service life of the road and improve the driving safety.
