Flood Disaster Assessment Based on GIS and Measured Data
Based on the data of mountain flood disaster and village flood resistance capacity survey and evaluation project in Zhangzhou City, this paper establishes the risk assessment system for mountain flood disaster in Zhangzhou City.It comprehensively considers multiple factors such as precipitation, population density, land type, and economic situation, and uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process to determine the weight of each factor.Geographic Information System(GIS)is used for analysis and mapping to determine the danger, vulnerability, and risk distribution of mountain flood disasters in Zhangzhou City.In ArcGIS software, the natural discontinuity method is used to divide the risk level into five levels:low, lower, medium, higher and high. The results show that the high-risk areas of flood in Zhangzhou City are distributed in the western mountainous areas, and the high-vulnerability areas are mainly distributed in economically developed areas such as urban areas. The research conclusion has important reference significance for flood disaster protection in Zhangzhou City and other coastal cities.
