The Application of BIM Technology in Dilapidated Building Renovation Project
With the acceleration of urbanization,the dilapidated building renovation has become an important task to improve the safety and quality of urban living and promote sustainable development.BIM technology provides a new solution for the dilapidated building renovation project with its powerful information integration and 3D visualization capabilities.This paper analyzes the application of BIM technology in a dilapidated building renovation project,which shows that BIM technology can effectively control the renovation cost and make up for the deficiency of traditional design mode.At the same time,using the highly integrated data processing ability of BIM software to comprehensively evaluate the building structure,function upgrading potential and safety performance of the old residential area can ensure the scientificity and rationality of the renovation plan and significantly improve the overall efficiency of the old residential area renovation.
