With the advancement of urbanization and the rapid development of transport infrastructure construction,bridge engineering,as the key node of urban traffic network,not only needs to ensure smooth and efficient traffic,but also has increasing higher requirements for the safety,economy and durability of bridge structures.The application of prestressing technology can effectively improve the performance of bridges and prolong their service life,which has gradually become an important research direction in the field of bridge engineering.This paper conducts in-depth research on the application of prestressing technology in bridge engineering.Through systematic analysis,the practical application effect of this technology in different structural types and its influence on engineering performance are comprehensively understood.
