In order to ensure the quality of municipal road route design,this paper summarizes the principles of municipal road route design.Taking an urban road as the research object,it analyzes the selection and combination methods of its plane(straight line,circular curve,transition curve)and vertical section indicators(longitudinal gradient,vertical curve).At the same time,the comprehensive evaluation system of route design scheme is established from three aspects of traffic safety,economy and environmental impact,and the grade of the road route scheme is calculated by comprehensive evaluation method.The research results can provide reference for similar road design.
