With the continuous development of China's economy,the construction mileage of expressways is constantly increasing.At the same time,the huge changes in the composition of vehicles and the characteristics of traffic flow have led to an increase in traffic volume and load capacity,and public travel has also put forward more requirements for the protection of highway bridge transition sections.Therefore,in order to avoid the safety accidents of vehicles in the transition section of the bridge,it is urgent to improve the protection capacity of the guardrail in the highway bridge transition section.This paper studies the application of guardrail design in the transition section of the non-wing wall subgrade and bridge in the expressway.According to the current situation of the guardrail in the transition section of the subgrade and bridge and the design principle of the guardrail in the transition section of the non-wing wall subgrade and bridge,the structural design and material and installation requirements are put forward for reference.
